Though not precisely the same as Golarion humans, the red-skinned humans of Akiton are more of a different ethnicity than true aliens, and the planet as a whole has seen enough visitors from the geologically and culturally younger world that larger cities like Maro generally know of the other humans’ existence, and may even have a few in residence at any given time.
The greatest danger on Akiton comes from the twelve-foot tall four-armed shobhads, with their firearms and war clans. The most common favoured enemy on Akiton is therefore monstrous humanoid.
Akitonian Human Racial Traits
Humanoid (human): Akiton hosts a significant population of red-skinned humanoids that are exceptionally similar to Golarion’s humans, even to the point of being able to interbreed.
+2 Con, +2 Int, -4 Str, -2 Cha: Akitonian humans are hardy and advanced, but gruff. Their muscles are affected by developing in low gravity.
Medium: Akitonian humans are Medium creatures and have no bonuses or penalties due to their size.
Normal Speed: Akitonian humans have a base speed of 30 feet.
Bonus Feat: Akitonian humans select one extra feat at 1st level.
Hatred: Akitonian humans gain a +1 racial bonus on attack rolls against monstrous humanoids.
Healthy: Akitonian humans gain a +4 bonus on Fortitude saves against disease and poison, including magical diseases.
Mountaineer: Akitonian humans are immune to altitude sickness and do not lose their Dexterity bonus to AC when making Climb checks or Acrobatics checks to cross narrow or slippery surfaces.
Skilled: Akitonian humans gain an additional skill rank at 1st level and one additional rank whenever they gain a level.
Languages: Akitonian humans begin play speaking Akitonian. Akitonian humans with high Intelligence scores can choose from the following: Azlanti, Draconic, Elvish, Infernal, Lashunta, Terran, and Vercite.
Akitonian humans have 17 points to spend on ability scores. They enter university with one class level.
